Indianapolis is the capital of Indiana and the home of the famous Indianapolis 500 (which happens to finish during Memorial Day weekend, immediately before the start of the conference!). Within walking distance from the hotel, downtown Indianapolis has a variety of restaurants with cuisines from around the world, parks, shopping, and minor league baseball (the Indianapolis Indians are in town the week we are hosting the conference).

Hotel And Conference Venue
The 2024 IPMHVC Organizing Committee has negotiated a reduced rate of $199/night at the JW Marriot. This rate extends from May 27 to June 1, so we encourage attendees to come early to attend the Indianapolis 500 or stay late to enjoy what Indianapolis has to offer. All conference attendees will enjoy free Wi-Fi internet access (both in the meeting space and in hotel rooms) for the duration of the event. We highly encourage conference attendees to make reservations early to ensure availability.

Traveling to Indianapolis, IN
If you are planning on flying to Indianapolis, it is recommended that you fly into the Indianapolis International Airport (IND) due to its close proximity to the conference venue. IND offers numerous non-stop flight options for both domestic and international guests (see flight map below). US Visa Information
It is the responsibility of the attendee to determine if a visa is required to enter the United States. The visa application process to enter the United States is now subject to greater degrees of scrutiny. You will need to apply for your VISA as early as possible. This process can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months to complete – please be aware of specific application deadlines and requirements for your home country. If you determine a visa is required to attend the conference, you are strongly urged to start the process from your home country as soon as possible. Significant delays are possible when processing visas from some countries.
