Abstract Submission

We will no longer be accepting abstracts for oral presentation, which closed on February 23, 2018.  We will continue to consider late-news abstracts until May 1, 2018 for a poster presentation, but only if space allows and with approval from the Technical Program Committee.  Note that abstracts received during this late-news period may appear missing from the printed abstract booklet due to publication timelines, but we will note these late-news abstracts via the mobile app and supplemental handout at the registration desk.

The abstract portal can be accessed via the 2018 IPMHVC page on INDICO.  The 2018 IPMHVC Technical Program Committee is accepting abstracts in a number of topic areas.

Detailed Abstract Submission Notes:

The 2018 IPMHVC Technical Committee will again be using the INDICO conference portal to track abstract submission.

Submitted abstracts should meet the following editorial criteria (note all abstracts will be automatically formatted by the typesetting software after submission):

  • Maximum of 300 words;
  • No tables or figures;
  • (if required) a maximum of three references;

Submitting an abstract requires a two-step process:

  1. Create and validate a new “light weight” CERN INDICO account, unless you already have an account associated with your email address (e.g. if you attended the 2016 IPMHVC, 2017 PPC, etc.)
  2. Submit an abstract by accessing the 2018 IPMHVC page on INDICO, select “Call for Abstracts”, and finally “Submit New Abstract”.

For some international attendees, submission of an abstract is the first step in applying for a U.S. visa to attend the conference.  Please see the Visa Page for more detailed instructions.

Please contact the Technical Program Chair with questions regarding the technical program.  Please contact CERN Account Management for questions regarding INDICO accounts.
